The typography, set in three Baskerville variants, provides for an authoritative yet approachable tone, reinforcing the significance of the subject matter. The spacious page margins have the appearance of frames which can be colourised or negated to define the significance of text and image. The narrative follows a clear, chronological sequence, maintaining a measured peace that allows each milestone, challenge, and success to unfold gradually. The result is a collectible artefact which balances quality copy with high-resolution archive photography to instil confidence in future projects to ‘accelerate the eel’s recovery’.
